5 Random Questions: Beginnings

Postby scrivener » Sat May 27, 2006 9:27 pm

Answer as specifically, as vaguely, as verbosely, or as concisely as you please, but let us know:

  1. When, if ever, were you baptized?
  2. What was your first Bible?
  3. What was your first church?
  4. Can you recite Genesis 1:1? What about John 1:1?
  5. If scheduling were up to you, what time would worship service begin?
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.

Aloha leah,

(Off topic part) I see you're a Music Minister! Kewel - please check out my church website with some A/V clips and such:

http://www.palisadesbaptist-hawaii.org/

Please sign our guestbook if you go there. Thanks!

OK, back on topic:

1. When, if ever, were you baptized?
Sept. 4, 2005 - Yes I'm not quite mature in my faith yet.

2. What was your first Bible?
NIV published by Zondervan (I got it at Sam's Club)

3. What was your first church?
Well, I went to Gloria Dei Nursery School in Pearl City and I also attended Pearl City Congregational Church waaaaay back in hana buttah dayz. My parents stopped going when Rev. Higuchi went to a different church.

4. Can you recite Genesis 1:1? What about John 1:1?
yes

5. If scheduling were up to you, what time would worship service begin?
I like it the way it is: 10:15 AM. Worship Team rehearsal starts at 8 and then we have Sunday School at 9 so it all works out. Plus it weaned me away from my Pro Football addiction!
I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
