The Scone King

Someone brought in some blueberry scones from Diamond Head Market and Grill (corner of Monserrat and Campbell Avenue) to the office. Woo Hoo! They are actually really soft and un-sconelike except in shape. I hear they are made with cream cheese. Very light and spongy in texture. Pricey at $2.39 each, but worth the drive up there.

Sounds absolutely wonderful! If I ever find myself in the area, I'll check it out. Hubby LOVES scones. At $2.39/ea he'll probably only get one or two, tho.

Hehe! One thing I've noticed in fellowship with the church body is: We Christians LOVE to eat.

That's because other pleasures of the flesh are off-limits!

Rapturos, the scones sound great the way you describe them, but when I order a scone, I want a SCONE. I want a big, crumbly, dry tea-biscuit that goes great with my coffee.
