Pride! Gluttony! Sloth! What do you think? :)
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.

Pride: "Yep, once again I smoked a nice Butterball in the ol' Kamado. Used kiawe charcoal for heat amd kiawe wood for smoke."

Gluttony: "What no butter rolls?"

Sloth: "OK, someone just roll me to the bed from this nice comfy couch."

Verdict: Guilty, your honor.

I think it depends on how you conduct your thanksgiving holiday? I spent mine alone, as no one wanted me to go, as people think I am a loser.

Ha. You crack me up, Mark!

Seriously, though, it seems so characteristic of us Americans to take something well-intentioned like the offering of a national day of thanks and turn it into something excessive, and sometimes that worries me. I mean, I'm an American, and I know that part of that "more is better" mentality is part of my makeup.

I'm extremely thankful for the blessings I have, but I guess I'm cautious about anything that's "extreme" in its expression. Music is a blessing for which I'm grateful, but do I really need 900 CDs in my collection? At what point have you taken things too far?
